How To Trade

Trading gift cards is a quick and easy want to get the cards U really want!

Step 1: Registration: You need to register with cardsUwant.com Inc. before trading a gift card.

Step 2: U Sell: By clicking on the “List a Card” button you will be taken to the sell page where you will be prompted to provide:
- Card Details: Card description and condition.
- Selling Method: Choose between sale or trade

Step 3: Select Trade: Once you select trade you will be prompted to provide which cards and their values you will accept for trade, out of the ones currently existing in your Wish List.

Step 4: Trade/Auction: In addition to trading, you can still auction or sell your card at the set price. If you choose to trade only, simple click the trade only box. Should you wish to list your card for Auction or Sale, complete the minimum bid prompted. Set your minimum bid carefully as you are obligated to accept the amount should you receive no other bids. By selecting the Buy it Now feature, you can set the price for your gift card, eliminating the auction process.

Step 5: UVerified: Select your customer protection plan. Note that when selecting UVerified, the seller will be invoiced an additional $4.00 for the service.

Step 6: Preview: Review all the details of your auction and confirm your minimum bid and card details before your card goes live.

Step 7: Posting: Review all cardsUwant.com Inc. terms and conditions and post your card live on cardsUwant.com Inc.

Step 8: Trading Process: During the trading process, you will receive email notifications of all trade offers on your card. You can accept or reject the trade. If you accept a trade offer, then you can proceed to trade right away. However, if you receive a bid, the card will be automatically disabled for trade (and any open trade offers will be automatically rejected).

Step 9: Shipping: Traders are obligated to ship gift cards within 48 hours of trade confirmation. It’s up to the traders to determine the best means of shipping. CardsUwant.com Inc. provides links to rate calculators for Canada Post and United States Postal service. We also provide courier options via our preferred shipping vendor UPS. Note that should you use UPS, shipping costs will be billed back to the traders upon completion of the trade.

Step 10: Payment: You only pay cardsUwant.com Inc. once you trade your gift card. Following the completion of the trade, cardsUwant.com Inc. will invoice the seller for appropriate listing fees, shipping (if applicable) and customer confidence programs (if applicable). Traders who opt to pay for value difference are obligated to pay the other party within 48 hours of transaction close.
