Once you find the gift card you want you simply need to create an account, and in seconds you can buy from the seller, make a bid on an auction, or trade your cards for the cards you really want, it’s that easy.

It’s just as easy to sell a gift card. Simply create an account and choose the best way you wish to turn your gift card into cash. You can auction off your gift cards to the highest bidder, sell your gift cards for a set price or trade your gift cards for your favorite retailer. You set the terms that best meet your needs.

Auctions
Auctions provide one of the most effective means to turn an unwanted gift card into cash. Multiple bids can result in more money for the gift card. All bids are considered legal contracts and are binding, including the minimum bid price set by the seller.


Sell
If a seller wishes to sell a gift card for a set price, they simply select that set price as their minimum bid offer when posting their card and select non-auction in the timeframe. Once the minimum bid is received the auction will be closed.


Trade
CardsUwant.com Inc. allows individuals to trade their gift cards for specific cards form various merchants. Sellers can simply list the cards and card amounts they wish to trade. CardsUwant.com Inc. fees will apply to both parties involved in the trade.

• It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm the value of the card once received.
• All cards listed with the UAssured symbol ensures that the seller meets and has agreed to all terms and conditions of cardsUwant.com Inc.
• Sellers who purchase UVerified, cardsUwant.com Inc.’s consumer confidence plan, will have gift cards verified multiple times throughout the selling process, ensuring accuracy.
• CardsUwant.com Inc. is a marketplace, bringing together buyers and sellers of gift cards, and does not own or take possession of gift cards bought and sold on its website.
• It is recommended to buy, sell or trade higher amount cards that have been UVerified.
• If you decide to accept credit card payments, PayPal will charge PayPal Premiere members 2.9 percent + 0.50 per transaction.

• The seller legally agrees to submit truthful information.
• The seller is obligated to provide all relevant information about the gift card during the listing process. This can include, but is not limited to, card expiry dates (if any), card condition i.e. scratches or marks, card restrictions i.e. geographical restrictions, amount, currency, card serial number and card balances.
• The seller is obligated to mail or ship the card within 48 hours after close of auction or sale.
• The seller is obligated to comply with all terms and conditions of cardsUwant.com Inc.
• The Seller can choose to offer enhanced card security features by purchasing UVerified.
• Sellers agree that they have obtained all cards legally and all cards have been in their possession for over 2 weeks (14 days).
• All buyers, sellers and traders are required to have a PayPal account. It is free to transfer funds between buyers, sellers and traders with individual PayPal accounts.
• Payment to the seller of an auction is due within 2 business days of the auction's close. This payment should be made directly to the seller by clicking on the PayPal link/button found in the close of auction confirmation e-mail or by clicking the on PayPal button found on the auction's details page.

Upon completion of an auction, trade, or sale, cardsUwant.com Inc. will notify both the seller and buyer of the gift card. CardsUwant will provide the buyer with all relevant PayPal information in addition to providing the seller with shipping information. CardsUwant will also invoice the seller of the gift card for all listing fees.

CardsUwant.com Inc. provides several shipping options on its website, including links to Canada Post, United States Postal Service and UPS.

All shipping will be paid by the seller of the gift card. It is up to the seller to choose the most appropriate means of shipping.

Should the seller choose our premier shipping partner UPS, shipping costs will be invoiced by cardsUwant.com Inc. following the completion of the sale (an additional handling fee of $2.00 will be added to all UPS shipments).

With the purchase of UVerified sellers are obligated to purchase a shipping solution that provides tracking tools and must email associated tracking number to tracking@cardsUwant.com.

CardsUwant.com Inc. does not charge you to buy a gift card. There are no hidden upfront or close-of-sale fees. It’s simple, we don’t get paid until you sell your card, and then we charge a single flat fee to the seller. Unlike other sites, cardsUwant.com Inc. wants you to make as much money from your gift cards as possible without paying a high percentage fee.

CardsUwant.com Inc. fees are based on final card sale prices and will be paid in the currency of the close. Fees include: cards sold $0-$19.99 (fee $1.00), $20, 00 – $89.99 (fee $3.00), 90 + (fee $5.00).

All fees will be paid by the seller of the gift card. Once the sale is complete, cardsUwant.com Inc. will notify both the seller and buyer and provide the appropriate shipping and PayPal account details. Once the sale is complete, cardsUwant.com Inc. will invoice the appropriate amount by email to the seller. In the event of a trade, fees will apply to both parties involved in the transaction. Additional fees may apply associated with the purchase of UVerified, cardsUwant.com Inc.’s consumer confidence plan.

You agree that cardsUwant.com Inc. is in no way responsible for the suitability or the accuracy of any payment of taxes on your behalf. You shall indemnify and hold cardsUwant.com Inc. harmless against all liabilities, costs, expenses, and interest incurred by cardsUwant.com Inc. that arise out of any governmental claim involving or related to any federal, state, provincial, sales, goods and services, or municipal tax obligation or amounts due or owing under any tax law or regulation.

CardsUwant.com Inc. will take every reasonable action to address disputes between buyers and sellers. Users of the site are obligated to the following code of conduct:

• The seller/trader must have guaranteed that he/she has checked the value of the card prior to posting
• The seller and trader must provide cardsUwant.com Inc. with delivery confirmation information including shipping dates. This can be accomplished via courier notification emails.
• The seller, trader or buyer must have registered with, and conducted the transaction, using an e-mail address associated with a valid PayPal account.
• The dispute must be reported to PayPal. This may also include reporting the situation to your credit card company. All credit card companies take misrepresentation seriously and most do not have a deductible.
• CardsUwant must be notified of any dispute within 7 days of the close of the transaction.

• CardsUwant reserves the right to contact local and federal authorities to report misrepresentations. Due to the nature of our business, intentional misrepresentation may be a punishable offence.
